THE big FISH was developed in 1997 by Marina Angelides, daughter of Harry Angelides, a successful fish and chip shop propietor since 1957, after arriving on British soils from Cyprus as a young boy. Growing up in this environment played a significant influence and with her formal, graphics and digital design background plus her interest in healthy living, Marina combined them to make what is now, a fresh and innovative approach to this famous tradition.
Marina has followed her fathers traditional methods to create Fish & Chips as we remember and love them and she has also developed her own healthier fish options to appeal to the more diet and health conscious. She wanted to offer a fast food that tasted so delicious but was healthy too, and indeed she has. Now a trip to the local chippy need not be a guilt trip - but a tasty and healthy experience.
